There shall be one law for the citizen and for the stranger who dwells among you.
[JPS translation]

Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a sabbath of the LORD your God: you shall not do any work - you, your son or daughter, your male or female slave, or your cattle, or the stranger who is within your settlements.

When a person opens a pit, or digs a pit and does not cover it, and an ox or a donkey falls into it, the one responsible for the pit must make restitution; he or she shall pay the price to the owner, but shall keep the dead animal.

You shall not wrong or oppress a stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. You shall not ill-treat any widow or orphan. If you do mistreat them, I will heed their outcry as soon as they cry out to Me, and My anger shall blaze forth and I will put you to the sword, and your own wives shall become widows and your children orphans.
[JPS translation. Edited for gender neutrality]

If you lend money to My people, to the poor among you, do not act toward them as a creditor; exact no interest from them. If you take your neighbor's garment in pledge, you must return it to your neighbor before the sun sets; it is their only clothing, the sole covering for their skin. In what else shall they sleep? Therefore, if they cry out to Me, I will pay heed, for I am compassionate.
[JPS translation. Edited for gender neutrality]

Six days you may do your work, but on the seventh day you shall rest, in order that your ox and your donkey shall rest, and your maidservant's son and the stranger shall be refreshed [Translation by Judaica Press]

You shall not subvert the rights of your needy in their disputes. Keep far from a false charge; do not bring death on those who are innocent and in the right, for I will not acquit the wrongdoer. Do not take bribes, for bribes blind the clear-sighted and upset the pleas of those who are in the right. You shall not oppress a stranger, for you know the feelings of the stranger, having yourselves been strangers in the land of Egypt.
[JPS translation]

Every one of the princes of Israel in your midst used his strength for the shedding of blood. Fathers and mothers have been humiliated within you; strangers have been cheated in your midst; orphans and widows have been wronged within you. You have despised My holy things and profaned My sabbaths. Base men in your midst were intent on shedding blood; in you they have eaten upon the mountains; and they have practiced depravity in your midst. In you they have uncovered their fathers' nakedness; in you they have ravished women during their impurity.

Thus said Adonai, God: Enough, princes of Israel! Make an end of violence and oppression, and do what is right and just! Put a stop to your evictions of My people -- declares Adonai, God. Have just balances, a just ephah (unit of dry measure), and a just bath (unit of liquid measure).
